Yinjiang She Ethnic Village
The only minority-characteristic village inSanqingshan, is situated along the scenic mountain highway connecting Sanqingshan and Wuyuanshan. It is one of the key ecological projects of the Sanqingshan UGGp. The village currently comprises 47 households with a population of 205. The She descendants residing here have preserved their distinctive culture, arts, linguistic customs, and rich ancient heritage to this day.
With its pristine ecology and captivating scenery — emerald mountains, crystal waters, ancient trees, traditional stockades, drifting clouds, cascading waterfalls, wetlands, and ancient villages — the village offers visitors an unforgettable experience. The fusion of profound historical culture and unique She ethnic charm makes this a magical destination for cultural tourism.
In 2015, Sanqingshan invested over RMB 6 million to comprehensively upgrade the village's infrastructure, including building facades, shop signage, landscaping, and lighting systems. Leveraging its geographical advantages and rich She ethnic cultural heritage, the village has vigorously developed rural tourism and featured cultivation of Dendrobium officinale. It has built 17 She-style farmhouses, raising the per capita net income of villagers to 20,000 yuan. In the same year, the village appeared on CCTV-4’s Legendary Chinese Festivals for the rural Spring Festival celebration and Jiangxi TV-2’s National Day rural tourism live broadcasts, becoming a shining calling card of rural tourism in Sanqingshan.
In 2020, Yinjiang She Ethnic Village was selected as a sub-venue for the "3rd Jiangxi Provincial Ethnic Minority Art Festival" and launched its "Beautiful Village" construction project. With a total investment of RMB 20.2058 million, the project covered 24.17 ha of construction land, 3.81ha of water systems, and 1.32ha of green space, renovating 58 houses and adding 65 parking spaces. The village was scientifically divided into six functional zones: Folk Performance Service Area, Gourmet Food Experience Area, Folk Painting Appreciation Area, Traditional Sports Recreation Area, She Pastoral Flower Sea Area, and Waterfront Landscape Leisure Belt — becoming a highly innovative and experiential She ethnic tourism destination.
In 2025, the Gangshou Cableway was inaugurated at Sanqingshan UGGp. Leveraging its geographical advantages and ethnic cultural characteristics, Yinjiang She Ethnic Village has pioneered an integrated development model of "Ecology + Culture + Tourism." This approach has empowered villagers to expand over 160 mu of bionically cultivated Dendrobium officinale, maintain more than 100 beehives, and produce over 3,000 jin of fruit wine annually. Through e-commerce platforms, these distinctive agricultural products from the ethnic village have reached nationwide markets, truly transforming lucid waters and lush mountains into invaluable assets — "gold and silver mountains."
The village also encourages residents to revitalize idle courtyards by establishing 28 boutique homestays and 6 premium homestays, while introducing the "Eight She Delicacies" signature cuisine, allowing visitors to experience ethnic charm through authentic gastronomy. In 2024, the "Discover the Beauty of China · Blossoming Sanqing" event alone attracted over 60,000 tourists, continuously amplifying the brand impact of this model village for "She Ethnic Tourism." As a result, the incomes of all ethnic groups continue to grow, and their confidence in sustainable development grows ever stronger.
Today, as a model of "Beautiful Villages" with ethnic characteristics in Jiangxi Province, Yinjiang She Ethnic Village is actively developing itself into a distinctive rural tourism "check-in destination" with diverse leisure offerings, contributing to the brand building of the Sanqingshan National Tourism Resort.
