Introduction to Shangxikeng Village (Yinhuwan Ecological Village) in Sanqingshan

The core tourist area of Shangxikeng Village in Sanqingshan is Yinhuwan Ecological Village, located in the east of Sanqingshan UGGp, only about 5 minutes’ drive from the eastern Jinsha Cableway. It is the largest farmhouse reception base in Sanqingshan.

The area covers more than 8.67ha, with 182 households, including over 120 engaged in farmhouses and homestay catering. Adjacent to Sanqingshan Geological Museum and Jinsha Tourist Resort, it has developed into a high-quality homestay cluster integrating leisure sightseeing, health & wellness vacation, and study tour experience.

In 2007, the Administrative Committee of Sanqingshan UGGp launched the "Thousand Households, Ten Thousand Beds" tourism-enrichment project. It carried out unified homestead planning and overall relocation of Shangxikeng Village, carried out centralized and standardized construction in the style of Northeast Jiangxi residential buildings, and simultaneously built public service facilities such as schools, health centers, community management centers and villagers’ leisure squares. The village was fully completed and officially opened in May 2012.

In 2021, the Administrative Committee invested more than 20 million yuan in the overall renovation and upgrading of the area, further improving infrastructure, optimizing the landscape environment and homestay service functions. The project was completed and put into use in January 2022, giving the village a brand-new look and making it a distinctive tourist village at the foot of Sanqingshan suitable for living and visiting.
