Sanqingshan School

Sanqingshan School is located at the foot of Sanqingshan UGGp. It is a key public school developed by Sanqingshan UGGp, comprising a junior high school department (Sanqingshan Middle School) and a primary school department (Minde Primary School).

Formerly known as Fenglin Middle School, it merged with Yukeng Middle School in 2007 and was renamed Sanqingshan School, covering an area of 3.33ha. After years of development and upgrading, the school’s conditions have been continuously improved, equipped with modern teaching facilities including multimedia classrooms, future classrooms, computer rooms, science laboratories, and a library reading room. All classes are fitted with information technology and multimedia equipment. The school also has a 400-meter circular track stadium and special venues for music, sports and art, providing a high-quality teaching and activity environment for teachers and students.

In 2020, the Geopark upgraded the school’s campus functions and quality, adding a geology classroom, a global shared classroom, and a woodworking skills room. The compliance rates of per-capita functional room area and per-capita equipment value both reached 100%.

The school currently has more than 100 teaching and administrative staff and over 800 students. It boasts a teaching team with strong professional competence and a strong sense of responsibility, including many core teachers who remain committed to the original aspiration of education and are deeply engaged in frontline teaching.

Relying on the unique advantages of Sanqingshan UGGp, the school has formed distinctive school-running characteristics. It integrates ecological civilization and green education, as well as red education based on the spirit of Fang Zhimin, into discipline construction and campus culture, establishing a development system that integrates the "research and study campus, tourist area, and geological park". The participation rate of teachers and students in research and study activities reaches 100%. Meanwhile, the school actively promotes the connotation project of "One School, One Featured Program; One Class, One Distinctive Style". It carries out geological popular science and cultural inheritance activities in line with the scenic features, which not only inspires students’ love for their hometown culture and geological science but also gives full play to its role as a provincial research and education practice base and a provincial science education base. The school has thus achieved the educational goals of "efficient classrooms, effective teaching, and practical moral education".

As the core base for compulsory education in Sanqingshan UGGp, the school has always received high priority and strong support from the Sanqingshan Party Committee and Administrative Committee, which continuously optimize the allocation of educational resources and improve the quality of schooling.
