28-Nov-2025 09:00

The weather has been persistently dry recently, and the fire risk level in Sanqingshan UGGp is extremely high. To ensure sightseeing safety and jointly protect the World Heritage Site, the following reminders are issued:

I. Fire Safety: A Constant Alert
Strictly prohibit outdoor fire use: Do not smoke or use open flames in forest areas, grasslands and other outdoor areas. Smoking, picnicking with open fires, and releasing sky lanterns are completely prohibited throughout the Geopark.
Standardize electricity use to prevent risks: When staying in hotels and guesthouses do not privately connect wires or use illegal high-power electrical appliances. Turn off power supplies before leaving the room.
Properly dispose of cigarette butts: Smoke only in designated smoking areas. Ensure cigarette butts are completely extinguished before placing them in trash cans.

II. Safety First, Fulfill Responsibilities
All hotels, guesthouses, merchants and construction units must strictly implement the primary responsibility for fire safety:
1.Carry out fire safety inspections. Strengthen daily fire prevention patrols, conduct thorough inspections of key areas such as corridors, guest rooms, kitchens, warehouses and construction sites, and remove combustible materials in a timely manner.
2.Ensure facilities are intact and effective. Conduct comprehensive inspections and maintenance on fire safety facilities, equipment and electrical circuits to ensure they function properly.
3.Strengthen employee training. Ensure that all employees are familiar with emergency response plans, know how to call the fire alarm, extinguish initial fires, and organize evacuation.
4.Enhance visitor reminders. Post fire prevention notices in prominent locations such as reception desks, guest rooms and restaurants, and proactively remind visitors of electricity and fire safety.

III. Civilized Sightseeing: Everyone’s Responsibility
Abide by regulations: Visit only along designated trails; do not enter undeveloped or closed areas.
Protect the environment: Do not bring kindling into the scenic area, do not pick flowers or plants, and do not disturb wild animals.
Dispose of garbage properly: Take away your garbage and dispose of it in trash cans. Do not litter, especially items like plastic bottles that may concentrate sunlight and cause fires.
