During the spring break, Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark launches a free admission benefit for students from Jiangsu Province and across the country who enjoy the spring break holiday. Students from provinces that have issued official spring break policies (including Jiangsu Province) may enter the Geopark free of charge with valid documents (cableway fares at their own expense). One accompanying parent is also entitled to free admission (cableway fares at their own expense). According to the weather forecast, light rain is expected from April 1 to 3. After rainfall, the mountains will be shrouded in mist and clouds, offering perfect conditions for shooting ink-wash style scenery and viewing the sea of clouds.
Transportation Guide
It takes a minimum of 2 hours and 5 minutes from Hefei to Shangrao Railway Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signposts of the Sanqingshan Custom Shuttle Line to the boarding area. Tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code on site or online via the WeChat official account Xingrong Travel.
If you intend to ascend the mountain via Gangshou Cableway, take the high-speed rail to Dexing Railway Station, transfer to the Yanyun Sightseeing Bus heading for Gangshou Cableway.
