Article 1 Without permission, no unit or individual may engage in the following activities within the geopark:
(1) Establishing institutions or constructing facilities unrelated to the protection of geological heritage;
(2) Engaging in tree felling, hunting, or collecting specimens and fossils;
(3) Prospecting, mining, dredging, quarrying, soil extraction, earth removal, tomb construction, or any other activities that damage geological heritage or impact the environment.
Article 2 Any person who engages in scientific research, teaching practice, specimen or fossil collection, film shooting, or sports events within the geopark shall submit an application and activity plan to the geopark administrative authority in advance, and may proceed only after obtaining approval.
Article 3 All units and individuals have the obligation to protect the natural environment and geological heritage resources of the geopark, and have the right to stop, report, and accuse any acts that damage the natural environment or geological heritage.
Article 4 Any person who commits any of the following acts shall be subject to warnings, fines, confiscation of illegal gains, and orders to pay compensation for damages by the geopark administrative authority in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, depending on the severity of the circumstances; if a crime is constituted, criminal liability shall be pursued according to law:
(1) Illegally engaging in prospecting, mining, quarrying, logging, earth removal, soil extraction, or dredging within the park;
(2) Occupying geopark land for illegal construction;
(3) Destroying, polluting, or transferring protected geological heritage resources in any other form;
(4) Unauthorized collection or excavation of specimens and paleontological fossils;
(5) Unauthorized moving or destroying of steles, boundary markers, and identification systems.
Article 5 If management personnel abuse their power, neglect their duties, embezzle public property, or destroy geological heritage, the superior competent administrative department shall impose administrative sanctions according to the severity of the circumstances; if a crime is constituted, criminal liability shall be pursued according to law.
