Regulations on the Management and Protection of Wildlife and Plants in Mount Sanqingshan require all departments to implement conservation laws.They also prohibit the entry of unquarantined species and the hunting or trading of wildlife, encourage public reporting with rewards, and mandate the rescue of injured animals.
Article 1 All departments and units in the scenic area shall conscientiously study and implement the Forest Law, the Wildlife Protection Law, the Wild Plant Protection Law, and relevant international conventions or agreements concerning wildlife and plant protection, and effectively enhance their awareness of wildlife and plant protection.
Article 2 It is strictly prohibited to bring animals, plants, or their products that have not undergone quarantine into the scenic area. The entry of non-native species into the scenic area shall be subject to an access permit system.
Article 3 It is strictly prohibited to harm, illegally hunt, or trade wildlife, as well as to wantonly collect, excessively fell, or illegally trade wild plants.
Article 4 All departments and individuals in the scenic area have the obligation to protect wildlife and plant resources and the right to report and accuse any acts that damage wildlife and plant resources or their habitats.
Article 5 It is strictly prohibited to engage in activities such as the purchase, sale, storage, transportation, or processing of wildlife and their products in the scenic area.
Article 6 Departments or individuals that promptly stop or report illegal activities involving the hunting, collecting, transporting, purchasing, or selling of wildlife and their products shall be commended and rewarded by the Management Committee.
