On June 14, 2025, Jiangxi’s flagship promotional event for the 2025 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day was successfully staged at Sanqingshan, a World Natural Heritage Site. Centered on the theme Safeguard World Heritage, Build a Beautiful Jiangxi, the activity was co-organized by Jiangxi Protected Areas Development Center and Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark Administrative Committee.

A national pilot zone for ecological civilization development, Jiangxi boasts exceptional natural endowments and hosts a total of 542 protected areas of all administrative levels. Five sites including Wuyishan, Lushan, Sanqingshan, Longhushan and Guifeng have been inscribed on the World Heritage List. During the event, an official promotional video for Cultural and Natural Heritage Day was screened alongside an image exhibition featuring world heritage sites and nature reserves. Invited experts delivered a keynote speech titled Discover Jiangxi’s Cultural and Natural Heritage, Boost China’s Ecological Civilization Highlands. Over 80 participants consisting of administrative staff from Sanqingshan Management Committee, frontline ecological conservation workers and student representatives attended the ceremony.
