Muntiacus crin frons Sclater, a national Class I key protected wild animal, belongs to Muntiacus animal, whose whole body and limbs are dark grey, and fur tips are slightly brown and large in size, upper half of its tail is black and lower half is white with very distinct boundary. There are long brown hairs growing on the top of its head, between its two antlers, and around the roots of its antlers. That is why they are called Muntiacus crin frons Sclater. They mainly eat young leaves of Poaceae plants.
