Tibetan Macaque (Macaca thibetana): A species endemic to China and a Class II national key protected wild animal. It is the largest species in the genus Macaca in China. It has a large head, with facial skin that is flesh-colored or greyish-black; the facial skin of adult females is reddish-flesh. The Tibetan Macaque inhabits rocky habitats in mountainous broad-leaved forest areas and lives in groups.
