Macaca thibetana, a Chinese endemic animal, is national Class II key protected animal. It is the largest species of the Chinese Macaques. It head is big, face and skin are fleshcolor or grayish black. The face skin of adult female macaques is fleshcolor. Macaca thibetana is a kind of social animal that inhabits a rocky biotope in Mountain broad-leaved forests.
