Tragopan caboti, one Chinese endemic animal, is national Class I key protected wild bird, the IUCN threat level is vulnerable. The upper part of body of male bird is chestnut, littered with yellowish round patches with black edges. The top of its head is black with black and chestnut red crest. Its flight feathers are in a chocolate color with scattered brownish yellow patches. The lower part of its body is nearly all brownish yellow. The feathers in its abdomen are skin yellow, so that’s why it is called ‘Tragopan caboti’. In rut period, the male bird will show his turquoise blue and vermilion fleshy dress and turquoise blue fleshy horn to female bird. Generally, the female birds are wholly sepia-colored, densely covered black, brownish yellow and white thin stripes. Its upper part of body is scattered with black spots and the lower part white.
