On September 19, 2025, a delegation from Sanqingshan Global Geopark visited Huanggang Dabieshan UNESCO Global Geopark for a study exchange. The delegation conducted on-site observations and in-depth discussions on geological heritage conservation, science popularization and education, museum exhibition and operation, and revalidation work. The exchange proved highly beneficial to enhancing Sanqingshan's management standards and laid a solid foundation for deepening mutual cooperation between the two geoparks and jointly advancing the sustainable development of the geopark cause.

The delegation's first stop was the Huanggang Dabieshan UNESCO Global Geopark Museum. The museum's rich collection of geological specimens, vivid science popularization videos, and exquisite exhibition layout comprehensively showcased the geopark's scientific value and cultural appeal. Members of the delegation toured the facility while engaging in discussions, expressing high praise for its innovative operational model and meticulous exhibition details, and gaining substantial insights.

Subsequently, the delegation traveled to the Huangshi'ao Geological Culture Village in the Macheng Park area. The harmonious and picturesque village is built upon geological heritage, complementing magnificent geological landscapes. Along the "Most Beautiful Geological Tourism Highway," the delegation immersed itself in the wonders of nature and engaged in lively discussions on how to leverage geological heritage resources to develop distinctive science popularization routes, drawing considerable inspiration.

At the 3.6-billion-year-old geological heritage site, the delegation conducted on-site observations of this precious geological wonder and engaged in in-depth exchanges on geological heritage conservation and revalidation archive management. The extensive experience accumulated by Huanggang Dabieshan UGGp in revalidation work provided valuable insights for Sanqingshan as it prepares for its upcoming revalidation.
