In April 2015, Sanqingshan UGGp attended the 2015 Annual Conference of China UNESCO Global Geoparks, which was held at Cangshan UGGp in Dali, China.
The theme of the conference was "Conservation of Geological Heritage and 10 Years of the GGN". The conference reviewed the main construction and management work of global geoparks in 2014, and arranged key tasks for 2015. Representatives of participating geoparks held on-site discussions and exchanges, sharing experience in their own construction and management. During the conference, representatives of Sanqingshan UGGp also attended inauguration ceremony of the Cangshan UGGp in Dali.
Participating in the conference, effectively promoted the exchange and cooperation between out geopark and other geoparks in China, and it was of great significance to strengthen and promote construction and management work of the Sanqingshan UGGp.
