Mount Sanqing Joins Hands with Alps to Enter the World

On June 15, the "Mount Sanqing - Alps, China Europe Famous Mountain Tourism Cooperation Forum" was held in Jinchen Villa, Mount Sanqing. Representatives from Italian, Austrian and German Alpine Scenic Spots and relevant principals of Mount Sanqing Scenic Spot gathered together. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on how to strengthen cooperation and promote each other, and reached a series of cooperation intentions, outlining a beautiful blueprint.

At the symposium, the two sides respectively introduced the resource value, cultural history, development status, protection and management of their respective scenic spots, and spoke freely about how to build a friendly mountain. Participants said that Mount Sanqing and the Alps are both world heritage sites, and both have unique and rich tourism resources. Strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two scenic spots will not only help expand the international popularity and influence of each other's scenic spots, promote the better protection and management of the two human treasures, but also be of great significance for enriching the activities of the year of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Germany, and further promoting the long-term development of China EU tourism.

It is reported that the Alps are a major mountain range in central and southern Europe, covering the northern border of Italy, southeastern France, southern Germany, and Slovenia. They are a world-renowned tourist, vacation, and health resort. In 2001, the region of "Jungfrau, Aletsch Glacier, and Bichi Peak", which boasts the most famous peaks in the Alps and the largest glacier in Europe, was listed as a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO.
