Sanqingshan Kindergarten

Sanqingshan Kindergarten is a public kindergarten administered by the Administrative Committee of Sanqingshan World Geopark. Located in Fenglin Community, Fenglin Town, it was officially completed and put into use in August 2020.

The campus covers an area of about over 6,600 square meters, with a building area of 3,692 square meters, including 2 three-story teaching buildings and 1 comprehensive building. It has 12 standard classrooms, 1 multi-functional hall and a special canteen. The outdoor activity area is about 2,500 square meters and the green area is about 1,600 square meters. Equipped with complete amusement, sports and teaching facilities, it can accommodate more than 300 children. The campus features a fresh and elegant environment integrated with the natural scenery of Sanqingshan, making it a safe, comfortable and playful paradise for children’s growth.

Leveraging the advantages of Sanqingshan UGGp, the kindergarten integrates geological popular science, natural ecology and local culture into preschool education, including:

· Offering natural enlightenment courses to help children understand granite landforms, flora, fauna and ecological knowledge;

· Conducting study tours in cooperation with the Geological Museum to experience hundreds of millions of years of geological wonders;

· Integrating cultural and folk elements of Sanqingshan to cultivate children’s love for their hometown and nature;

· Holding science education activities jointly with the Geopark every year, enabling children to learn about geology and love their homeland from an early age.
