Yushan Zihu Junior High School

Yushan Zihu Junior High School (formerly: Zihu Middle School, Tucheng Junior High School) is located at No. 40 Sanqing Road, Zihu Village, Zihu Town, Yushan County, beside the Sanqingshan Ring Road. It is a long-established public full-time junior high school serving the northern foot of Sanqingshan.

Founded in 1958, the school covers an area of about 30,000 square meters (45 mu), with a building area of 10,323 square meters. It currently has 18 teaching classes, approximately 830 students (including 356 boarders), and 71 full-time teachers, among whom 34 are senior teachers and 27 are first-class teachers. All teachers meet the required academic qualifications, with a well-structured teaching team. The school is equipped with standardized functional rooms including physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, computer rooms, multimedia classrooms, music and art rooms, a library, a psychological counseling room, and a sports equipment room, with complete teaching and living facilities.

Leveraging the geographical advantages of Sanqingshan UGGp, the school integrates geological science education ecological environmental protection and local cultural education, and carries out study tours and campus cultural activities. It cultivates students’ character of loving their hometown, protecting nature and being diligent and progressive, serving as an important rural junior high education base on the northern foot of Sanqingshan.
