Yushan Zihu Central Primary School
Yushan Zihu Central Primary School is located at the foot of Sanqingshan, in the core area of Zihu Town. As a well-established public central primary school rooted in the mountainous area, it mainly undertakes compulsory primary education for school-age children in Zihu Town and surrounding areas. It has 5 complete primary schools and 3 village primary schools under its jurisdiction, covering a wide area and serving as an important rural primary education base on the northern foot of Sanqingshan.
The school enjoys the reputation of “Hometown of the Top Scholar, Scholarly Zihu”. With beautiful mountains and clear waters, and a deep respect for culture and education, it is the birthplace of Wang Yingchen, the youngest top scholar in Chinese history. Its profound cultural heritage has endowed the school with unique cultural genes.
The school’s scale has expanded steadily. It currently has 101 teachers and 1,141 students, with a wellstructured and highquality teaching team. Adhering to the philosophy of “Striving to promote the happy growth of every teacher and student”, the school, on the one hand, strives to build a campus rich in calligraphy and scholarly culture. Taking calligraphy education as a breakthrough, it has established a “1+3+N” calligraphy curriculum system, built multiple calligraphy corridors and display walls, and held special events such as calligraphy festivals and grading examinations, practicing the educational goal of “Write neatly, behave uprightly”. On the other hand, it solidly promotes labor education by setting up a labor practice base and designing gradebased labor tasks. It also offers diverse afterschool services and colorful club activities covering reading, sports, art, science popularization and other fields, comprehensively improving students’ core competencies.
Relying on the geographical advantages of Sanqingshan UGGp, the school integrates local culture, ecological science educaiton and red education into daily teaching. It organizes students in research practices, volunteer services and other activities to guide them to understand, love and protect their hometown.
