In recent years, a group of commentators from Sanqingshan UGGp have through regular live broadcasts, presented the spectacular steep peaks, seas of clouds, sunrises and morning glows in real time to thousands of visitors in front of the screen. They capture the beautiful scenery through their lenses and tell the stories behind the mountains and waters with words, becoming a major force in the geopark’s online communication.

From February 18 to 19, Ge Jian, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Sanqingshan UGGp, and Wang Qinghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee, led a Party and government delegation to conduct study and research in Huangshan City, Wuyuan County and other areas. Ye Jianqiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Huangshan Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Huangshan UGGp; Zhang Dehui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Huangshan Tourism Development Co., Ltd.; Wei Xiuhui, Deputy Director of the Huangshan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism; and Zhou Huabing, Deputy Secretary of the Wuyuan County Party Committee and County Magistrate, accompanied the delegation during the visit.

In accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the General Office of the China Association for Science and Technology on Conducting the Establishment of National Science Popularization Education Bases for 2021–2025 (CAST General Office Pu Zi〔2021〕No. 26), upon evaluation, Sanqingshan UGGp is proposed to be recognized as a National Science Popularization Education Base.

On January 10, 2022, the Launching Ceremony of “Seeking Nostalgia • Experiencing the Spring Festival Charm” – Shangrao Rural New Year Celebration and the Sanqingshan Travel Agents Conference were held at Sanqingshan UGGp, a World Natural Heritage site. Guests from the tourism, culture and media sectors, as well as hundreds of travel agency representatives, gathered together to enjoy the special “Sanqing Celebration Soup Banquet”, experience folk festival activities, and jointly plan a new chapter for tourism development.

On July 28, the signing of the Mount Sanqing East China Normal University internship base and the opening ceremony of the Mount Sanqing Love Summer Camp of East China Normal University "Education for Poverty Alleviation and Youth in Action" was held. Ren Youqun, member of the Standing Committee and vice mayor of Shangrao City, Zhu Li, secretary of the party committee of Mount Sanqing Scenic Area, Professor Liu Min, president of the School of Geosciences of East China Normal University, and Professor Duan Yushan, secretary of the party committee, attended the opening ceremony. Wu Hua, deputy secretary of the party committee and director of the management committee of Mount Sanqing Scenic Area, presided over the opening ceremony.
