At 3:00 a.m. on September 21, Beijing time, from the 11th European Geoparks Conference held in the Aloka World Geopark in Portugal, it was reported that China's Mount Sanqing National Geopark was officially included in the UNESCO World Geoparks Network Directory and was awarded the title of "Mount Sanqing World Geopark" after being reviewed by the UNESCO World Geoparks Executive Board. This is another world-class brand obtained by Mount Sanqing after its successful application for "World Natural Heritage" in 2008.
