Recently, in Mount Sanqing pastoral tourism area, a wild millennium magnolia tree quietly bloomed full of magnolias, attracting tourists to stop and watch. On the straight tree trunk, one after another, bright white magnolias fluttered in the wind and were full of vitality. Under the warm sunshine, some buds bloomed in full bloom, while others were shyly dripping. Looking around, it was like an ocean of flowers, filled with the vibrant spring atmosphere.

Xu Xisheng, a distinguished professor of the "Yangtze River Scholar Program" of the Ministry of Education, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Earth Sciences of Nanjing University, and a winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, was invited to serve as the chief reporting expert of Mount Sanqing's application for the World Geopark. From April 29 to early May, he carried out field research and investigation activities along the Mount Sanqing GGN experts' investigation and assessment route, and negotiated with geological experts in Jiangxi Province on various matters related to the inspection.
