From June 19 to 22, the Executive Board of the UNESCO World Geoparks Network appointed two experts, Nicolas Zouros and Jose Brilha, to carry out a field assessment and investigation on the application of Mount Sanqing for the World Geopark. Through the field investigation of the scenic spot and listening to the relevant work reports, the two experts had a deep understanding of Mount Sanqing's rich granite geology, geomorphology and biodiversity, and praised Mount Sanqing's protection and management of resources.

On December 15, representatives of 30 travel agencies of Changyou China Self driving Tour Club Alliance arrived at Mount Sanqing to collect wind and rain. The delegation members visited Jinsha Tourist Center and the flagship store of Sanqing Impression tourism commodities in the rain, held a licensing ceremony of "Mount Sanqing Self driving Tour Base" in front of the Tourist Center, and awarded the bronze medal of "Mount Sanqing Headquarters" to the Mount Sanqing Painter Village Resort Hotel.
