On March 25-28, the Mount Sanqing Geopark sent its staff to participate in the first workshop of world geopark managers held in Hong Kong to share experience in geopark management and popular science education with representatives of 13 geoparks from China and Japan.

During the October 1st Golden Week this year, Mount Sanqing launched an emergency plan for tourist evacuation, set up cards at each pass of the scenic spot to guide tourists to visit in a one-way direction, and implemented time division. Free winter raincoats are distributed to tourists, and three medical rescue points are set up. Scenic area management personnel are arranged to stay in the scenic area to ensure that all tourists come down the mountain.

On May 31, Mount Sanqing World Geopark and Lushan World Geopark signed a friendly cooperation agreement in Mount Sanqing, officially concluding the sister park. Both sides will carry out cooperation and exchanges in geological heritage protection, park management, science popularization education, and sustainable development of parks.
