On November 17th, the 38th UNESCO Conference officially approved the new International Geoscience and Geoparks Programme (IGGP)” as well as pertinent chapters and directions which included all global geoparks to become UNESCO Global Geoparks, which further manifested UNESCO’s will to protect and sustainably utilize these geosites of significant international value. In the meantime, it also marked the official birth of the new mark of “UNESCO Global Geoparks”.

On 26 November, the 'Beautiful Sanqing • Bridge Debate - 2015 "Sanqingshan Cup" National Bridge Open' was grandly opened at Sanqingshan International Resort Hotel, co-hosted by the Shangrao Municipal People's Government and the China Bridge Association, organised by the Shangrao Sports Bureau and Shangrao Bridge Association, and undertaken by Sanqingshan. Go grandmaster Nie Weiping was invited to attend the competition.

"The light shakes a jade-green winding stream, and the emerald scoops the Sanqing Mountains from near and far." With the opening of the Hefei-Fuzhou high-speed rail, the picturesque Sanqing Mountains have seen a significant increase in visitor numbers. Statistics show that in July this year, the number of tourists to Sanqing Mountains rose by nearly 40% year-on-year, with visitors from Anhui and Fujian showing rapid growth. To capitalise on the new opportunities brought by the high-speed rail, Sanqing Mountains has partnered with Wuyuan and Jingdezhen to launch the 'Most Beautiful High-Speed Rail Route' tourism product, aiming to establish the top tourism brand in Jiangxi.
