From late May to early June, the alpine azaleas of Sanqingshan UGGp enter their most magnificent blooming season of the year. According to the latest flower update from the Geopark, most flower buds along the routes are now in full bloom, while some early-blooming flowers have turned white. The peak viewing period is expected to arrive this weekend and continue into next week.

As the flowering season arrives in May, Sanqingshan UGGp has fully launched its "5 Provinces, 23 Cities" tourist through-train service. The direct buses to the first batch of cities have already carried tourists into the Geopark, marking the start of the spring and summer tourism peak season.

China’s first large-scale Taoist culture situational stage plays The Grand Sanqing will officially premiere at Sanqingshan UGGp on April 29. Using modern sound, light, electricity, holographic projection and innovative stage machinery, the play vividly presents the natural wonders and cultural heritage of Sanqingshan UGGp, creating an immersive audio-visual feast that embodies the Taoist philosophy of following the laws of nature. With duration of 56 minutes and a seating capacity of over 2,200 spectators, it is hailed as a must-see premium performance for tourists visiting the area.

Following the Shangrao Investment Promotion in the West Coast Economic Zone on April 15, Sanqingshan UGGp launched its first stop of the series promotion activities “Entering Communities, Campuses, Factories and Commercial Zones” in Fuzhou on April 23.
