On November 5-7, Dr. Xu Kejian of China University of Geosciences, a team of Mount Sanqing reassessment experts, came to Mount Sanqing World Geopark to carry out the preparation for reassessment. During this period, the expert team carried out a thorough investigation on the reassessment of Mount Sanqing, including the display, marking system, museum, investigation route, etc. of Mount Sanqing Geopark. To lay the foundation for later inspection route planning, improving park visibility, and perfecting signage systems, ensuring smooth passage of inspections next year.

On April 26-27, 2016, the 2016 China Global Geopark Annual Meeting was held at the Zhijindong Global Geopark in Guizhou Province. Yang Jing, deputy director of Mount Sanqing Management Committee, led the team to attend the annual meeting.

In order to comprehensively build the tourism brand of Mount Sanqing World Geopark and further expand the popularity and influence of the park, since the public solicitation of "Mount Sanqing World Geopark Cartoon Image" in November 2015, it has received enthusiastic attention and support from friends from all walks of life, actively responded and actively contributed. By the deadline, a total of 51 design works had been received from all over the country. On December 10, 2015, the Mount Sanqing World Geopark Cartoon Image Selection Meeting was held in the Mount Sanqing World Heritage Management Center. Zha Qizhi, deputy secretary of the scenic spot party committee, attended the meeting, and Yang Jing, member of the party committee and deputy director of the management committee, presided over the meeting. The selection expert group is composed of Chao Zhizhong, senior engineer of the Department of Land and Resources of Jiangxi Province, Zhu Dong'e, director of the Geological Park Office of Lushan Sister Park, Zheng Xuedong, director of the Landscape Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, Hu Zhiyuan, ceramic teacher, and park representatives.
