On September 10-11, the 29th Annual Conference of the Tourism Geoscience and Geoparks Research Committee of the Geological Society of China, together with the Symposium on the Construction and Tourism Development of Yanqing UGGp, was held in Yanqing.
On May 15-16, the 2014 Annual Conference of China UNESCO Global Geoparks was successfully held in China Shennongjia UGGp. Representatives from 28 UGGps in China, 6 candidate sites for the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network, and land and resources authorities of 17 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions attended the meeting.
On September 8-13, 2013, the 3rd Asia Pacific Geoparks Network (APGN) Symposium was held in Jeju Island UGGp, South Korea, and the delegation of Sanqingshan UGGp attended the opening ceremony.
On January 9-10, 2013, the 2012 Annual Working Conference of China Global Geopark was held in the Danxiashan UGGP,Guangdong. Delegates of 27 global geoparks from 17 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) and the Hongkong Special Administrative Region attended the conference.
Beijing time at 3 a.m. on September 21, it is reported from the 11th European Geopark conference held in the Portuguese Aloka Global Geopark that Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark of China passed the review by the UNESCO Global geopark Executive Board
