From October 30 to November 3, 2018, the 4th UNESCO Global Geoparks Management and Development International Training Course and the 1st UNESCO Global Geoparks Evaluators Training Course were held at China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
The 8th UNESCO Global Geoparks Conference was held from September 11 to 14, 2018, at the Adamello-Brenta UNESCO Global Geopark in Trentino, Italy, with more than 850 representatives from 65 countries participating. Sanqing Mountain UNESCO Global Geopark sent representatives to attend the conference.
On August 23, 2018, a special seminar on World Geopark evaluation, organized by the National Geopark Network Center, was held in Beijing. Over 50 leaders, managers, and experts from relevant organizations, including the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences.
November 14, 2017 From November 13 to 15, 2017, the 2017 Annual Meeting of Chinese UNESCO Global Geoparks was held at Ningde UGGp. More than 200 participants, including representatives and experts from 35 UGGps, 2 candidate Global Geoparks, and competent authorities of geoparks across China
From September 19 to 22, 2017, the 5th Asia-Pacific Geoparks Symposium was grandly held in Zhijin County, Guizhou Province. The theme of this conference is "UNESCO global geoparks promote sustainable development of local economy".
From January 13 to 19, 2016, the International Training Course on Geopark Management and Development was held in Beijing, organizing a concentrated training for more than 60 participants, including managers of China's World Geoparks, geopark experts, and scientific partners.
