Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark Participated in the 2024 Global Geoparks Network Welcome Event for 18 New Members.
Sanqingshan UNESCO Global Geopark led an online video exchange with nine sister UNESCO Global Geoparks at the 2023 Shangrao Global Tourism Promotion Conference.
From September 4 to 11, 2023, Sanqingshan UGGp sent representatives to Marrakech, Morocco, to attend the 10th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks. It discussed development strategies and shared construction experience with experts and colleagues from geoparks around the world.
From October 30 to November 2, 2023, the 2023 Annual Conference of China UNESCO Global Geoparks was held at Yimengshan UGGp in Shandong Province. Sanqingshan UGGp attended the conference.
From September 4 to 11, 2022, the 7th Asia Pacific Geoparks Network Symposium was held in a hybrid online and offline format at Satun UNESCO Global Geopark, Thailand. The theme of the conference was “UNESCO Global Geoparks: Building Sustainable Communities”. Sanqingshan UGGp participated in the symposium online and submitted a poster presentation titled “The Educational Tourism Products for the Sanqingshan Geologica Museum”.
On December 7, the Annual Conference of the UNESCO Global Geoparks in China of 2022 opened in Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province. The conference was guided by the Department of Nature Reserves of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, Hunan Forestry Bureau, and the People’s Government of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, and co-hosted by the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, National Geopark Network Center, Global Geoparks Network Office, and Xiangxi UGGp.
