The delegation also included Wang Jianguo, Deputy Director of the Dali Cangshan UGGp Administration, Yang Xuexian, Director of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the Dali Prefectural CPPCC, and Chang Jixiong, Deputy Magistrate of Yangbi County, Dali Prefecture.

On December 7, 2022, the 2022 China UNESCO Global Geoparks Annual Conference was held in Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan. Due to the impact of the pandemic, this year's conference was held in a combined online and offline format for the first time, with the main venue set at Xiangxi Global Geopark.
From December 14 to 16, 2021, the 9th UNESCO Global Geoparks Conference was held at Jeju Island Global Geopark in South Korea. Due to the pandemic, the conference was held in both online and offline formats.
From April 26 to 28, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of Yimengshan Global Geopark and the seminar on the construction and development of global geoparks were held at Yimengshan Global Geopark.
On November 17, 2020, the first GGN Digital Forum was held online from 12:00 to 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time (20:00 to 22:00 Beijing Time). The GGN Executive Committee invited official representatives of all GGN institutional members, GGN individual members, and GGN honorary members to participate.
